Innovate Finance Launches Third Annual Pride in FinTech Powerlist 2025

Innovate Finance, the independent industry body for the UK fintech sector, has launched its third annual Pride in FinTech Powerlist 2025. The list celebrates the LGBTQIA+ leaders who are driving meaningful change and innovation across the financial services industry.

The initiative is a central part of Innovate Finance’s commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion within fintech. The Powerlist aims to champion visibility, foster a stronger community, and inspire the next generation of leaders who are helping to shape a more inclusive, transparent, and equitable financial services industry.

Shaping a more inclusive industry

The Pride in FinTech Powerlist highlights the essential role that the LGBTQIA+ community plays in advancing the fintech sector. This year’s list recognises individuals from a wide range of leading organisations who have made notable contributions. These include leaders from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), JP Morgan Chase, Kyndryl, Monzo, Revolut, Ripple, Starling, Travers Smith, Xero, and Zopa Bank, among many others.

Innovate Finance noted that as one of the UK’s most dynamic and fast-growing sectors, fintech is uniquely positioned to lead the charge in enhancing diversity and inclusion for the future of financial services.

This year’s initiative is supported by Google, Kyndryl, Alloy, Zilch, and myGwork. The launch of the Powerlist will culminate in a celebratory event on 4 December, which will be hosted by Google.
