MoneyHash, the payment orchestration platform for emerging and global markets, has appointed Abdullah Khayat as its new country director and general manager for Saudi Arabia. The strategic hire is a key part of MoneyHash’s regional growth strategy, which is focused on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

Khayat brings over a decade of experience in driving growth and digital transformation across the financial services, fintech, retail, and government sectors in the Kingdom and the wider MENA region.

Strategic expansion in Saudi Arabia

MoneyHash has identified Saudi Arabia as central to its regional growth strategy, citing the Kingdom’s rapid digital transformation under Vision 2030 and its thriving fintech ecosystem. The company is committed to strengthening its presence by investing in local leadership and forging key partnerships to support businesses as they adopt digital payments.

Prior to joining MoneyHash, Khayat played a key role at Unifonic, where he led business development and partnerships in KSA, driving growth across e-commerce, retail, and the public sector. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions at ABB, Siemens, and Bupa Arabia, where he managed strategic relationships with government and enterprise accounts.
