Dubai’s CARE Forum to Channel Billions into MENA Clean Energy Transition

The inaugural CARE (Climate Action, Renewable Energy & Sustainability) forum series by Trescon is set to become the MENA region’s most influential platform for sustainability investment and climate innovation. Scheduled for 26–27 November at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai, the forum will unite global leaders to accelerate the Middle East’s clean energy transition, which sees the GCC committing billions to renewable infrastructure.

Co-located with the DATE (Digitization, AI & Emerging Tech Summit), CARE MENA will spotlight investable opportunities across sectors, including solar, green hydrogen, sustainable finance, and industrial decarbonisation. The event is designed to move conversations into tangible action, aligning capital with climate ambition.

A marketplace for green investment

CARE MENA offers a direct marketplace for venture capital firms, institutional investors, family offices, and sovereign funds seeking exposure to the region’s promising climate tech ventures and infrastructure projects. The event is backed by prominent regional investors, including the Royal Group, Sharjah Investment & Development Authority (Shurooq), ARM Holding, and Venturesouq.

The forum is crucial for start-ups and climate tech ventures looking to secure investments, strategic partnerships, or market access. Sofia Kostiunina, managing director at 100VP, commented that she views CARE as an excellent platform to identify breakthrough opportunities in renewable energy and climate tech.

Kevin Holliday, CEO of Venturebeam, also noted his anticipation for the platform to uncover investment opportunities in climate tech and renewables.

Initiatives driving action

The CARE agenda is built around high-impact initiatives designed to ensure that discussions lead to commitments and real-world deployment of capital.

Flagship programmes include:

  • ClimateTech World Cup: A global start-up competition designed to spotlight breakthrough sustainability solutions and connect founders with investors and corporates.
  • CARE Launchpad: A platform showcasing disruptive research and whitepapers to ignite funding and collaboration.
  • CARE ESG Awards: Hosted by Trescon and supported by ESG MENA, these awards will celebrate the “Responsible Investor of the Year” and the “Young Sustainability Pioneer of the Year”.

Sessions will explore regulatory reform, capital flows, and technology deployment, with a sharp focus on commercial viability and regional scalability. Naveen Bharadwaj, group chief executive officer of Trescon, stated that by co-locating CARE with DATE, they are demonstrating how innovation and sustainability can move together to shape stronger, smarter economies for tomorrow.
