Solflare Debuts in-Wallet AI Assistant to Bring ‘Intent-Based’ Trading to Solana Users

Solflare, one of the largest non-custodial wallets on the Solana blockchain, has launched the alpha version of a native, in-wallet AI assistant designed to automate complex decentralized finance (DeFi) workflows through natural language.

Announced on stage at Solana Breakpoint 2025, the new tool—Solflare AI—aims to replace rigid, traditional wallet interfaces with an LLM-powered assistant. The feature allows users to execute on-chain actions, set price alerts, and analyse social sentiment directly within the wallet, removing the need to switch between disparate tools to manage a portfolio.

Bridging the gap between intent and execution

Crypto markets are notoriously fast-paced, often creating a gap between a trader’s intent and their ability to execute a strategy across complex user interfaces. Solflare AI addresses this by utilising an “intent-based, solver-driven” architecture. Users can interact with a single interface using plain language, while distributed solvers work in the background to interact with various protocols and fulfil the request.

Vidor Gencel, co-founder and co-CEO of Solflare, commented on the friction currently present in the market: “Crypto markets move quickly, but most people can’t monitor price movements, social sentiment, and portfolio changes all day. This gap leads to FOMO. Traditional interfaces add too much friction, turning the gap between intent and execution into a costly delay. Using natural language, Solflare’s AI assistant bridges that gap instantly.”

Features and Safety

Deploying across both web extension and mobile, the AI assistant offers a chat interface where users can automate trades based on price or time and analyse live social signals from platforms like X and Telegram.

Despite the automation capabilities, Solflare emphasised that the system preserves self-custody and user control. Every AI-initiated transaction requires manual review and confirmation before execution. A dedicated dashboard also allows users to view and cancel automations at any time.

Filip Dragoslavic, co-founder and co-CEO of Solflare, outlined the long-term vision for the product: “Imagine a world where you can run a diverse on-chain strategy through a single AI assistant, using plain human language without needing to master complex interfaces and mechanics – that’s our future. Solflare’s AI assistant means fewer tools, fewer tabs, less time spent managing complexity, and fewer moments lost to FOMO.”

The alpha version is currently being rolled out to a small cohort, including select Solflare Guardians and community members. Broader access will be granted via a waitlist as the company expands availability. Solflare currently serves over 4 million active users.
