Bitcoin Hits New All-Time High Above $67,000

Bitcoin has shattered expectations once again, surging past the $67,000 mark to set a new all-time high in what analysts are calling one of the most significant price milestones in the cryptocurrency's 15-year history. The move comes amid a confluence of bullish catalysts that have been building for months.
The primary driver behind this historic rally is the unprecedented institutional demand flowing through newly approved spot Bitcoin ETFs. BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) alone has accumulated over $20 billion in assets under management since its January launch, with daily inflows consistently exceeding $500 million.
The halving event earlier this year, which reduced Bitcoin's block reward from 6.25 BTC to 3.125 BTC, has also played a critical role. With daily new supply cut in half while demand continues to surge, the basic economics are firmly in Bitcoin's favor.
Macro conditions have also contributed to the rally. With the Federal Reserve signaling potential rate cuts later this year, risk assets broadly have benefited. Bitcoin, increasingly viewed as a macro hedge and store of value, has attracted capital from traditional finance players looking for asymmetric upside.
