CA Auto Finance, the UK subsidiary of CA Auto Bank, has confirmed a new partnership with Opteven to provide an extended range of mechanical breakdown warranties and vehicle protection solutions in the UK.
The announcement, made via company press release, builds on existing collaborations between the two firms in France and Italy.
According to the release, customers financing vehicles through CA Auto Finance will now have access to the newly introduced Total Care Warranty. The product is designed to offer tailored coverage terms based on vehicle eligibility, with higher claims limits and no restrictions on age or mileage once purchased.
The partnership comes against a backdrop of rising vehicle maintenance costs. Office for National Statistics data shows that between September 2024 and September 2025, the cost of maintaining motor vehicles in the UK increased by 7.9%, driven by inflation, supply chain pressures and higher labour costs.
The agreement forms part of a wider strategic collaboration between Crédit Agricole Personal Finance & Mobility, CA Auto Finance’s parent company, and Opteven. The two companies have established a joint venture, Crédit Agricole Mobility Care Services, specialising in automobile warranty and maintenance contracts.
Ludovic Troyes, Opteven UK CEO, said the company has “a strong presence across Europe” and is “excited to bring our products to CA Auto Finance customers in the UK.” He added that the partnership would ensure drivers “have the tailored protection they need when unforeseen challenges arise.”
Christian Gorton, Marketing Director at CA Auto Finance, noted that vehicle ownership can involve “unexpected costs” and described the partnership as “a powerful business lever” to provide UK drivers with products that make paying for damage “a more straightforward process.” He added that reassurance is “increasingly vital” as customers navigate the transition to electric mobility.
