Wipro Wins Multi-Year Odido Deal to Power Digital Future with Self-Funded AI

Wipro Limited, a leading AI-powered technology services and consulting company, has secured a multi-year engagement with Odido Netherlands B.V. to transform the Dutch telecom operator’s IT landscape and enhance customer experience across its enterprise and consumer segments.

The agreement focuses on a full-scale modernization of Odido’s digital and enterprise technology systems, driven by AI and deep consulting expertise. The goal is to improve customer engagement, boost productivity, and streamline operations to reduce costs.

Innovation funded by productivity gains

A key highlight of this multi-pear contract is the use of a self-funded model. Under this structure, productivity-driven savings generated by the modernization efforts will be reinvested to continuously fund new digital initiatives. This approach ensures that innovation remains both sustainable and scalable for Odido.

The transformation will be powered by Wipro’s WEGA and WINGS AI delivery platforms, which are part of the broader Wipro Intelligence™ suite. These platforms enable Odido to simplify its IT architecture, drive automation, and build a dynamic ecosystem of agent-driven services. These services are designed to improve service reliability, IT operations, and incident resolution rates.

Wipro will also introduce a conversational AI chat solution to enhance responsiveness and resilience, delivering contextualized, multilingual, and conversational self-service capabilities across Odido’s technology ecosystem.

Design-led approach for customer experience

The engagement places a strong emphasis on user-centric design, integrating Wipro’s experience-led studio model, powered by Designit. By closely linking design, development, and engineering teams, the partnership aims to capture user and business needs early, seamlessly translating them into solutions, and delivering with speed and excellence.

Robert Purdy, chief IT officer at Odido Netherlands, commented that the collaboration supports the company’s ambition to make technology more human. “This applies not only to our network services and product innovations, but also to our processes, operations, and IT infrastructure,” Purdy said. “Our collaboration with Wipro supports this ambition and enables us to take the customer experience to a next level.”

This strategic deal builds on Wipro’s existing relationship with Odido and reinforces the global trend of telecom carriers embracing AI-led IT renewal to support advanced services and achieve operational efficiency.
